I am viswa,working on datawarehousing platform.I would like to know the career
prospects for webanalytics,the skill set required and the kind of pressure in this industry.
Is there a scope where i can try as a trainee role in web analytics in any of the IT organisations.If yes please let me know some of the organizations who hire freshers
where i can give a try.

Web analytics is new in india, which i think you figured out.
Skill set is a tricky question but if your someone who's played around numbers and have inclination towards working on lot of data this is the job for you!
Some skills of programming ( not necessarly coding), atleast understand technology will come handy!
and taking about pressure :-), which job does not have that ?

Hi Viswa,
Happy to know that there is someone like me who is very much excited about Web Analytics, career, scope and job market.
When it comes to skill set and pressure I am completely in lines with Anil apart from what mentioned above I feel a web analyst should be enthusiastic, dynamic(as you know web itself is so dynamic) and always willing to know new things.
I am also in search of an opportunity and will let you know if I find one.
